About me.
Hi! I’m Ashlie Thacker (she/her), and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate in the state of Washington.
I started my own practice to provide a calm, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or pressure. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices and prioritize the therapeutic relationship at the center of my work.
My style could be described as relational- meaning I offer a no-bs, real-life approach to walking with you through your life story. I don’t blunt my emotions or reactions- what you see is what you get.
This style of therapy and therapeutic relationship is not for everyone; however, if we are not a good fit, I will do everything in my power to find you a therapist who is.
I am happy to share more about my professional background and educational experiences during our time together. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
Outside of my work as a therapist, I value the quiet moments and meaningful connections with my community, such as baking and attending sporting events (Go Mariners!).
These things help me stay present and balanced so I can show up fully for my clients.

My Philosophy
What to Expect
I believe that even in difficult times of life, growth is possible. Like the blue orchid- rare, resilient, and uniquely beautiful- you already carry the capacity for healing within you. Therapy is a space to nurture that growth and help you move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling
My values as a therapist and human are to empower others to live their best life. Therapy with me is:
Collaborative- we work together at your pace
Compassionate- you’ll be met with warmth and understanding
Tailored- your needs and goals guide the process
Sessions are designed to help you gain insight, develop coping tools, and feel more grounded in your day-to-day life.
